Sooo...apart from internet house keeping I always have several projects on the go...in various states of creation... on benches, in cupboards, hanging half finished on walls...Not to mention the ones just hanging around in my head!

Yes, well hanging half finished on the wall - I can see one when I look out the window of my office/studio.
9 months ago I made up that bundle with an old fish keeping book, pieces of fabric, staples etc, tied it up with string and attached it to the garden wall as part of the DisCo project. It's been rained on, baked in the sun and probably has spiders and snails living in it by now.
After a few months I brought the bundle in and sat in on the scanner for as few passes. Even I was surprised by the results of this exercise - from the scans and some hand written text I created three digital collages with a modern mysterious quality.

It might now be time to bring in the bundle and pull it apart and see what I can make with the pieces, see what the weather has done to the pages and staples and other bits and elements.
I'm not looking forward to the spiders....
I am looking forward to the new creations and the process of creating!
